According to reports from Mehr News Agency citing Al-Ahram, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, the Secretary-General of the Arab League, has reacted strongly to the provocative remarks made by the U.S. Ambassador in the occupied territories. He deemed these statements as perilous and firmly condemned them.
Aboul Gheit emphasized that such comments fall outside the boundaries of international law and diplomatic principles. He noted that they do not contribute to de-escalating tensions and fail to provide a proper understanding of the region’s complexities.He further stated that the Middle East is at a critical juncture necessitating responsible positions rather than statements that incite religious and national sentiments.
Notably Mike Huckabee the U.S. Ambassador in Tel Aviv made unprecedented comments regarding the territory of this contentious regime during an interview with renowned American host Tucker Carlson. When asked whether Israel based on the teachings of the Torah has the right to dominate all areas from the Nile to the Euphrates Huckabee provocatively replied that it would be a good thing if they were to take all those regions.
