The series portrays some of the Israeli aggressions against the Gaza Strip, which has not gone unnoticed.The Israeli Broadcasting Authority produced a comprehensive report on the series, emphasizing that the depiction of the Gaza conflict is presented in a manner that does not cast Israel in a favorable light and is decidedly one-sided. Channel 12 of the Israeli television network also harshly criticized the series, claiming that Egypt is attempting to enhance its image, labeling the show as purely a political maneuver.Prior to the series airing, the newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth expressed concerns regarding its content. The publication warned that the series could negatively influence public opinion, particularly regarding the situation of children in Gaza and the Israeli military’s treatment of them, potentially reaching millions of viewers.The series has also been translated into English. ‘Sahab Al Ard’ addresses the humanitarian crisis faced by the residents of Gaza following Israeli attacks featuring Iyad Nassar as a Palestinian father and Menna Shalabi as an Egyptian doctor.
