According to a report by the International Defense Press, Joseph Aoun, the President of Lebanon, has expressed strong condemnation of the Israeli attacks that occurred last night, targeting the Sidon region and parts of the Bekaa Valley.
He emphasized that the ongoing aggression represents a blatant hostile act aimed at undermining Lebanon’s political efforts.Aoun stated that these airstrikes constitute a new violation of Lebanon’s sovereignty and disregard international commitments.
He pointed out that Israel is ignoring the international community’s will, particularly the demands of the United Nations regarding adherence to Resolution 1701. Nations that support regional stability must act immediately to halt these aggressions.Since Friday the Israeli regime has intensified its air assaults on Lebanon especially in the cities of Sidon and Baalbek resulting in the deaths and injuries of 39 individuals.
