According to reports from Mashregh, on Sunday, the Lebanese Army announced that its soldiers had successfully identified and neutralized an ‘Israeli spying device’ in Yaron, a region in southern Lebanon close to the border.
This discovery comes amidst ongoing Israeli operations in Lebanon, including nearly daily attacks. Nevertheless, the Lebanese Army remains committed to disarming Hezbollah.On the same day, an Israeli drone targeted a vehicle in the town of Yater in southern Lebanon. Shortly after, reports indicated a second drone strike in the same area. Yater is located approximately 5 kilometers from the border with the occupied territories.
The Lebanese Health Ministry reported that the Israeli assaults in southern Lebanon on Sunday resulted in one martyr and one injury, with the Israeli military claiming to have targeted Hezbollah members.Despite a ceasefire in November 2024, Israel continues its regular assaults on Lebanon, often stating that it aims to target Hezbollah’s infrastructure or operatives.
